Review by hotel critic
As a landscape photographer who frequently seeks out cozy accommodations to serve as a base for my expeditions, I recently stayed at Bank House Guesthouse in Bundoran. The location on Main Street was indeed convenient, with easy access to restaurants, pubs, and bicycle rentals. The friendly staff provided a good breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, which I appreciated before my long days of outdoor shooting. However, I found the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms lacking. The old, dirty bed bases and carpets detracted from the advertised "clean, nice rooms." Despite the comfortable beds and excellent service, the outdated décor and noise from the pub below diminished the luxury experience I was hoping for. While the value was decent for the price, I would recommend improvements in housekeeping for a more luxurious stay.
